Delta Sigma Pi allows students to become the best professional one can be while also fostering values in service, scholarship, and social interaction. Since we are a professional business fraternity, we pride ourselves on our events and opportunities that allow our brothers to learn more about the commercial world, develop skills that aren't taught in class, and prepare for whatever future they desire. We incorporate our many connections with both local and international businesses to help and educate our brothers, complete hundreds of hours of service each year, and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

The Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, though fairly new to RIT's campus, has had many great accomplishments and endeavors! We are constantly seeking opportunities to better ourselves professionally and personally. Since the chapter was re-actived in 2012, we have been working hard to gain a great sense of recognition in the Rochester area, as well as nationally, with our unique events and innovative ideas! Delta Sigma Pi is unique because it stresses the importance of developing strong business skills to build strong well-rounded individuals who have great integrity while also being well-rounded. While we strive to be professional in every sense, you will find that our brothers are down to earth and approchable as well. We are humble, friendly individuals that are passionate about networking, personal growth, and helping others along the way. In addition to this, we have built strong relationships with our alumni across the world who are always willing to help us! Our alumni can be found at prestigious and notable firms in many countries, but always take time to thank and donate back to the Fraternity that helped them reach those places.

Recruitment is a time when Delta Sigma Pi hosts a series of informational, professional, service, and social events on and around campus. It is the best opportunity for the individuals interested in joining our brotherhood to meet us and see what we are all about! We are looking for individuals who have exhibited the following traits: ambition, creativity, professionalism, respect, humility, and a strong desire to improve themselves professionally and personally. There is no one single type of person that our chapter looks for, and if you have any interest at all, we encourage you to come out, meet us, and be yourself! We appreciate all of the diverse experiences that different people have and we want to get to know you for you.

Pledging is an intensive process that develops important professional skills, teaches potential members about the traditions and values of Delta Sigma Pi and transitions you into becoming a brother. Don't worry, Delta Sigma Pi has long taken a stand against hazing in any form. Hazing activities have no place in Delta Sigma Pi and will not be condoned under any circumstance. Pledging is a fun and enjoyable time to learn about the fraternity, bond with our brothers and your pledge class, and make memories that will last a lifetime!

The pledging process is rigorous, but if you ask any brother in the fraternity, they will tell you that it is definitely manageable and well worth it - we all did it too! The purpose of the program is to educate those interested in the fraternity about our values, traditions, and sense of brotherhood and dignity that come from being in Delta Sigma Pi. Brothers are always willing to help out pledges while they are in the process, too! If you show that you are dedicated and passionate about learning, then we will want to see you succeed and will do everything possible to ensure that.
